Baptism marks the very beginning of an amazing journey with God. Every baptism is a celebration and an opportunity to give thanks to God for his new creation.
In a baptism service there are three special symbols that help us to understand what is happening when a person is baptised – oil, water and light. These symbols show us how much God loves us, that we are part of God’s family, and how we are called to share that love with others.
