Holy Trinity is a Church of England church in the heart of Twydall. We are a community that welcomes all, recognises the image of God in every person and seeks to share the love of God with all. We also make some pretty good cakes : )

Our services are relaxed, informal and range from traditional Holy Communion services to contemporary all age services. All our services are currently held in our church hall (next door to the church).

Our pattern of worship is:

  • First Sunday of the month
    • 8:30am Traditional BCP Holy Communion
    • 10am All Age Worship
  • Second, Third, Fourth & Fifth Sundays
    • 10am Holy Communion

Our Church Building

Holy Trinity is well known for its iconic church building, completed in 1964 and now grade II listed. The church building is unique in its architectural style and it is said that when viewed from the river the spire looks like a sail, and from the opposite direction, an Oast House. The architect who designed the church found inspiration for the design in Scandinavian boats, and the steeple is said to reflect two upturned prows, giving its unique shape.
